Lincoln Parish Head Start has been a cornerstone of early childhood education in Ruston for over five decades. As a federally funded program operated by Lincoln Parish School District, we serve children from birth through age five from families with low income — and we partner with all families regardless of income to expand our reach.

Our approach is rooted in the belief that young children learn best when their whole world is supported — not just their classroom. That's why every service we offer, from health screenings to parent workshops, is designed to strengthen the entire family unit.
